So much for the relaxing family weekend - getting ready for Christmas, decorating the tree and making gingerbread.
It rained all day. We got soaking. An hour searching in the loft for the base to put the Christmas tree in only to find the trunk to large to fit in. Much sawing of wet wood (not easy I can tell you) and still the thing wouldn't go up straight.
And you wonder why my favourite phrase of the season is Bah Humbug?!
