It's that time when we all go and vote in our local elections. Well most of that sentence is a total lie. Last local elections the turn out was 20% (in the kilburn ward anyway) and let's face it people don't vote for local issues, they vote based on what the national media portrays, in their never ending seach for the perfect dumbed down sound-bite, as the 'real issues'
Well I feel a deep passion that I should exercise my right to vote - and so I did - i'm not proud of it, but I spoilt my paper. Hopefully someone counting up the few votes for Kilburn will have something more to read that a few 'X's tonight .....
